Glover Wharf Municipal Marina is a modern facility offering 24 concrete slips providing 30/50 amp service, water and restroom/showers. Recreational slips are 30 and 40 feet in length. Commercial slips are also available. Located in protected waters in the heart of the North Shore, Glover Wharf is easily accessible to the open ocean.

Beverly became the birthplace of the American Navy when the schooner Hannah was commissioned and outfitted by George Washington.

On September 5 1775 the schooner Hannah sailed from Glover Wharf as the first warship of the Continental Navy.
